Job Title: Service Technician
Location: New York & New Jersey (Field-Based)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Service Technician to join our team, specializing in Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Systems throughout New York and New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining security systems at commercial and residential client sites. This is a full-time field position offering excellent pay, a full benefits package, and a company vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, program, test, and maintain electronic security systems, including access control, video surveillance (CCTV), and intrusion detection.

  • Troubleshoot and repair system malfunctions and perform preventative maintenance.

  • Configure and calibrate system components to meet customer specifications.

  • Document work completed, system issues, and customer interactions clearly and professionally.

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients by delivering excellent service and support.

  • Follow safety procedures and comply with industry standards and company policies.

  • Travel within NY & NJ as needed using a provided company vehicle.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.

  • Familiarity with systems such as Honeywell, Genetec, Bosch, Axis, Hikvision, or similar.

  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
